It is the mission of the Friends of the Bayard Public Library to provide support for enhancement of services and to encourage usage of the Bayard Public Library.

Membership is open to any card-holding patron of the Bayard Public Library.

Dues will be $5 for an annual family membership.

Activities & Goals

Current Activities
Friends of the Bayard Public Library memberships are now due for 2007.

After School with Friends..March 7th at 2 pm for grades 7-12

After School with Friends..March 20th at 3 pm for grades 4-6

After School with Friends..March 22nd at 3 pm for grades K-3


Past activities
Let's Make a Deal fundraiser at Bayard Family Fest, 141 garage sale, Dessert of the Month raffle, 2 to 3 After School with Friends activities for children per year, fundraising breakfast, Quasquicentennial float.

Current Goals
Funds raised by the Friends will be used to update accessibility to The News Gazette archives that are currently on microfilm. We are hoping to find a way to transfer the microfilm to CDs or the internet.
